REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

ADÜYES 2023 Placement Results have been announced! You can log in your Candidate' Page and find the program you have been admitted on the menu "Placement Results". Do not forget to download and print your "Letter of Acceptance" on the screen if you need to apply for visa. Registration will be completed by the Student Affairs Office of the relevant Academic Unit. Please come to the venue of registration in person during the registration period with all-needed registration documents listed on the Placement Results screen.

Please pay attention that no registration will be made after the registration period and no extra days will be given to finish the process if you are late. The candidates not admitted to any programs can check the Examination Calendar for Additional Placement Processes.

Please read below the conditions for registration with the power of attorney if you live abroad and will not be able to come to Türkiye.

RESIDENCE PERMIT AND INSURANCE PROCEDURES

1. Residence Permit

International students who do not have Turkish citizenship must apply for residence permission in order to legally study and stay in Türkiye. After completing your registration, you must make an appointment (step 1) with the Aydın Provincial Migration Office for residence permit application (step 1) within the visa or visa waiver period. The application steps and the documents you need to submit to the Aydın Provincial Migration Office are as follows:

Step 1 – Make your application on https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ and print out the Residence Permit Application form. (After completing your residence application on https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ by clicking on ‘I lodge an application for the first time for residence permission’, you will make a data entry to the Student Residence Permission and print it). If you have any problems while making an appointment, you can dial 157 for call center.

Step 2- Go to Aydın Directorate of Tax Revenue located in the branch of the Ministry of Finance (Maliye) in Aydın. Fill out the payment form for the residence permit card and give it to the authorized officer at the tax office before making the payment and pay the Residence Permit Card Fee of 356 TL (application fee for the year 2023). Get the payment receipt. (See Address-2).

Step 3- Submit the following documents to the Aydın Provincial Migration Office on the date and time of the appointment you have made on https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ (See Address-1)

The documents you need to submit to the Aydın Provincial Migration Office:

1- Residence Permit Application Form printout,

2- Your passport and a photocopy of the pages with your personal information, visa and entrance stamps to Türkiye and a photocopy of the Residence Permit card (if available),

3- Insurance Certificate (for private insurance- a copy of your insurance policy in the Turkish Language and its photocopy; for those intending to apply with SGK insurance (state insurance from the Social Security Institution you will need to sign a document stating that you will obtain SGK insurance). It is recommended that all international students apply for state insurance. (Detailed information is provided below under the heading of "Health Care and Insurance". (See Address-3),

4- 4 biometric (with white background) passport sized photographs

5- Student Certificate (issued by the Students Affairs Office of your Faculty/School)

6- Residence Permission Card Fee Receipt.

IMPORTANT: Students who have received residence permission in a province other than Aydın MUST take a Proof of Residence document and a student certificate to the Aydın Provincial Migration Office and inform it of the change in their address. Students who are under the age of 18, must take translated, notarized and apostilled Deed of consent from the student’s mother and father and their birth certificate to the Aydın Provincial Migration Office. Students who change their name or marital status or contact details must also inform the Aydın Provincial Migration Office within 20 days of the change. These must be carried out within 20 days of the relevant change.

2. Health Insurance

General Health Insurance is compulsory for all international students. Students who have completed their registration can apply for State Insurance (SGK) within 3 months after registration date.

The International Office recommends all international students to apply for State Insurance after their registration.

Students who have not applied for State Insurance within 3 months after registration MUST have private insurance.

General Health Insurance is also compulsory for any applications for residence permit.

General Health Insurance:

Students who do not apply within three months will not be able to apply for registration again during their education. For this reason, it is very important that students who want to benefit from state insurance make their applications within three months after their registration. It is %4 of minumum wage in Türkiye. The actual amount may differ every year

Private Health Insurance

International students can take out private health insurance in accordance with the circular of the Ministry of Treasury dated 10/05/2016 and numbered 2016/16. In this insurance, it is obligatory to have the statement "This policy covers the minimum assurance level specified in the Circular on Health Insurances to be Made for Visa and Residence Permit Applications dated 10/05/2016 and numbered 2016/16". Private health insurances are not valid in public hospitals, but only in private hospitals contracted with the insurance company and only for the ailments and treatments specified in the contracts.
